Ocean Safety and Etiquette Panel
We’re stoked to be hosting a panel on ocean safety and etiquette for our local surf community this month!
Join us on Sunday, January 15th at 6pm Rockaway Beach Surf Club for an informative panel and stay for the drinks and new friends! Panelists include hometown hero Farmata Dia and Chris Russo, a lifelong surfer, EMT/RN and ocean lifeguard who will be walking us through how to respond in sticky situations and some basic etiquette you may have missed in lessons. Board Swap and Surf Market
Join us for an afternoon of surf community hangs. Bring your used boards, equipment, wetsuits and more to sell or swap. Shop with local surf vendors and learn more about community surf groups! Beers provided by Rockaway Brewing Company.
End of Summer Surf and Clean
We're teaming up with Rock Lean n’ Clean, a local beach clean-up organization, to throw the Summer's End Surf & Clean Up event. Come surf, clean the beach, or both at this entirely free gathering. Gloves & bags will be provided.♻️🚮
June Meet Up and BBQ

8am-2pm- A Walk on Water Surf Therapy Session- Volunteer with A Walk on Water with us! Click on the link to learn more about the different types of volunteer positions available.
9am- Black Surfing Association Paddle Out Against Gun Violence at Beach 102nd St.
1pm- Laru Beya Beach Cleanup @ B 62, B 67, B 73, etc.
2pm-6pm- Yeasty Boys Surf Meet up (conditions pending- if it’s no good just a beach day!)
6pm- Late- Yeasty Boys Barge BBQ- After the beach, we’ll head to Gina’s Barge at Marina 59 for a BBQ!
