Summer is around the corner and the Yeasty Boys are hosting an ocean safety and rescue session/beach clean up on June 4th in Rockaway. Hither Hills lifeguard and certified ocean rescue guru @theesweeney will take us through what to look for in case of water rescue and how to act accordingly to keep yourself and the person in need of assistance safe.

We’ll start on land at Beach 62nd St. for this session to learn the basics but we hope to get in the water in future sessions. Don’t miss out on this vital info, either way, you could save someone’s life!

In order to keep session group sizes small, we’ll be simultaneously hosting a beach clean-up for the folks waiting for their session to start or for folks to join in after their session ends.
